How Copperline Makes Money
Copperline is paid for each call it connects, and may be paid for requests sent through our form. The payment comes from repair shops or from advertisers that buy calls on behalf of repair shops.
You pay Copperline nothing. You pay the repair shop only for work you approve, based on its written estimate.
What This Means for You
- Copperline does not endorse or rank shops. Which shop answers your call is decided by the advertising program for your area, and it can change.
- Copperline does not license, inspect or supervise shops. We make no promise about a shop's prices, schedule or quality of work.
- Check the shop before you approve work. Look up its ARD registration number at bar.ca.gov, ask whether the technicians are ASE-certified for your repair, and get the estimate and warranty terms in writing.
How Our Content Is Written
Our guides and cost pages are written to help drivers understand their car and their rights. Prices are market starting prices from the sources named next to them, with the date they were checked. Payments from advertisers do not change these numbers or what we write about a repair.
